Role overview

We’re looking for a Client Manager to join our Lobster agency as a result of extensive growth to help us support our clients and drive the agency forward.

Lobster is a new type of commerce agency, combining technology, data science and consultancy to deliver positive and increasing ROI for our clients. Working with 

leading FMCGs including Mars Wrigley, Weetabix, Arla, J&J, Accolade Wines, PepsiCo, Ferrero, Pladis, KP Snacks, Upfield, MDLZ, and more.  Take a look at their case studies here.

This role is perfect for someone with experience with the FMCG industry working with multiple clients and brands. You'd be joining a small, ambitious team looking to make their mark in the industry, you'd have the opportunity to own commercial relationships across a highly valued and developed client list.  


As a Client Manager, you will:

  • Manage commercial relationships across a sub-set of high value, developed clients. 
  • Seek out all new business opportunities to help us deliver our ambitious growth targets.
  • Take ownership of all outbound content to your client group from, media recommendations, evaluations results / insights and deliver bespoke consultancy work.
  • Embed our technology (Plan-Apps) into our clients businesses, seek high usage, strong retention rates and deliver training.
  • Evaluate campaign performance using our in-house tool Plan Apps, presenting results back to brands.
  • Manage a best in class team with varied experience, assigning their roles to ownership areas, whilst offering on-going day to day support.

As a Client Manager, we'd like you to bring:

  • Experience within a growing FMCG or shopper environment in a similar level of role.
  • A blend of strong commercial acumen (to enable us to deliver against ambitious targets) and creative thinking (to enable us to shape differentiated marketing & content plans).
  • The ability to adapt to an agile working environment with clear organisation and prioritisation skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Coaching and development experience as a line manager of a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
